Taking a part-time job is many college students’ choice, because they have much spared time and they also want to gain working experience, as so to make better preparation for the future career. It is a good choice for them as they can learn to be independent, but they are easy get into traps.

The common trap is the money taken by the broker. As students have no idea how to find the job, so some people work as the brokers, who get the money by introducing the job. They always get a lot of money and the students haven’t realized that the broker ask too much. Another common trap is from the employers. They think students are lack of experience and try to find all kinds of excuses to reduce salary.

Most college students don’t know how to protect their benefit as they are young and innocent. So they need to be super careful. They should go to big company, such as KFC. It is better to skip the broker, or ask someone you trust in to introduce. Before students take the job, it is necessary to learn more knowledge about law.

Adversity happens to all of us, and it happens all the time. Some form of major adversity is either going to be there or it’s lying in wait just around the corner. To ignore adversity is to succumb to the ultimate self delusion.

But you must recognize that history is full of examples of men and women who achieved greatness despite facing hurdles so steep that easily could have crashed their spirit and left them lying in the dust. Moses was a stutterer, yet he was called on to be the voice of God. Abraham Lincoln overcame all difficulties during the Civil War to become our arguable greatest president ever. Helen Keller made an impact on the world despite being deaf, dumb, and blind from an early age. Franklin Roosevelt had polio.There are endless examples. These were people who not only looked adversity in the face but learned valuable lessons about overcoming difficult circumstances and were able to move ahead.

those, however, are not what college life is all about. as we all know, college is wildly different from middle school. it connects not only adolescence to adulthood, but also the ivory tower to the real society. therefore, the ideal college life is that i become matured both physically and mentally, and that i obtain qualified academic knowledge and get well prepared for society at the same time.

under this circumstance, i never expect my college life to be too ideal, or you can call it too perfect. it is not realistic to make all things on my own way, with everyone liking me, winning the first prize all the time, and so on. of course, i’d like to lead a carefree life. however, this does little good to my future. what really helps is hardships like failure, betrayal, and unjust treatment. only after experiencing those can i know what society is like, and what life is like.

a businessman may be so anxious to grow rich that to this end he sacrifices health and private affections. when at last he has become rich, no pleasure remains to him except harrying other people by exhortations to imitate his noble example. many rich ladies, although nature has not endowed them with any spontaneous pleasure in literature or art, decide to be thought cultured, and spend boring hours learning the right thing to say about fashionable new books that are written to give delight, not to afford opportunities for dusty snobbism.
